Domain Model for MER-MAPGEN

Introduction

The model contains descriptions of the rover instrumentation and the mutual exclusion of their operation based on the actual MER "flight rules" (i.e rules of operation that are religiously followed and under most circumstances cannot be violated). The information in these viewgraphs therefore provides the essence of the constraints used in the domain model for MAPGEN.

The model described is an abstraction; and not the real thing. But this model is reasonably close to the real thing and should offer the same insight into the design of the model. The model is in NDDL (new Domain Description Language) which is a superset of PDDL and supported by the constraint based Europa Planner.

All the documents and information are for the use of the entire Planning community
and should not be used for any kind of exclusive access.
